Today while I was mowing the lawn I decided to go out and check on my chickens. Normally I check their water and food every few days. Well, today I was checking that stuff and spreading some grass shavings (for cushion and smell reduction) when I heard cheeping. I thought it was just some birds in) the tree nearby, but then Gama came out and saw a chick! So, my Burmas (Vashti and Ester) actually managed to hatch their own eggs! I am so excited! They are so so so adorable. I will post pictures tomorrow, when it's light outside. I want to give them Bible names, so I guess I will have to look. I just am so excited to have fuzzy little chicks. I told Stacey as she walked to feed the lambs today, and our neighbor came and talked to me over the fence. I still couldn't tell Oteopa until he came home from the temple, and Ensley and Kambree are on a trip. I called Shauna (the daughter-in-law of the lady who was giving the chickens away) but she wasn't there either. To make things worse, Marci is at Oakcrest, so I can't tell her until Saturday. Because I have very few people to share my excitement with at the moment, I am typing this all super fast so I can relax enough to go to bed. Okay, pictures are coming tomorrow. Have a good day...BTW, who voted Key Lime Pie? Is that Kambree, because that's her favorite type of yogurt. Well, have a super awesome day! You Rock!
